  1. The 15 Best Places for Hidden Spots in Las Vegas. Created by Foursquare Lists. Published On: February 25, 2021. 3708 Las Vegas Blvd S (in The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas), Las Vegas, NV. Pizza Place The Strip 332 tips and reviews. Las Vegas: Shhhhhh. This place is a secret.
  2. Las Vegas High School. This is one high school reunion we’d love to go to. Las Vegas High School was the city’s first and only high school until the ‘50s. And because it was such an overachiever, it was placed on the National and Stat Register of Historic Places. If you haven’t caught on yet, this place is obvi historic.

General Tips

Casino rules & regulations

While it’s technically not “illegal” to photograph in the casinos and on the grounds of the casinos it’s frowned upon and we have been asked on more than one occasion to leave the property. We normally just take a chance if our clients really want a specific casino location, but we try to sway people away from a casino setting if possible!

These boots were made for walking

The way we photograph, we really try to get to as many locations and photo spots as we can with our given amount of time. With that said, please plan to bring comfortable shoes. Walking around in Red Rock, Nelson or even worse the Strip in high heels will waste our time together. Please bring some comfy shoes for walking and you will have time to slip on others in between sets.

Fees, permits & restrictions

State Parks, National Parks and many other venues in Las Vegas have fees or permits that need to be acquired. Please let us know ahead of time if you would like to photograph at any of these locations.

Weather

Las Vegas has a reputation for being a hot place and it’s true. The summer temps sore at over 100 degrees for most of the summer months. The winter months are also much colder than many expect, so please plan accordingly and always bring water on the summer sessions.

What comes to mind when you think of Las Vegas? Neon, probably. Lots and lots of neon, the noble gas that lights up the Strip at night. It’s such a Vegas staple that there’s even a museum dedicated to the city’s glittering signs. But as New York City isn’t just Times Square, it would be reductive to limit your perception of Vegas to strictly bright lights and casinos.

Today, we go beyond neon to discover the hotspots and hidden gems of the city’s nightlife, food, and culture—exploring places both on and off the Strip—from Hakkasan, the megaclub where you’ll find names like Lil Jon or Tiësto playing on any given night, to The Laundry Room, a secret speakeasy on Fremont Street.

To help guide us on our journey, we’ve enlisted first-time visitor to Vegas, 22-year-old singer Lauren Sanderson, as well as veteran photographer and king of nightlife antics Glen Han (a.k.a. Glenjamn). Through their eyes and first-hand adventures, we get to see the people and places that make Las Vegas so special.
